About The Pods at Parting Carn
Welcome to Parting Carn, our luxury self catering pods offer a unique and relaxing Scilly experience. Situated on a small family working farm on St Mary's, surrounded by beautiful scenery and countryside you will find our pods the perfect base for you to come and go from whilst exploring our breath taking islands.
Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or simply to unwind and relax far away from the stresses and strains of modern life this is the perfect little retreat.

Stay in Our Luxury Pods
There are two luxury pods at Parting Carn, Upper Sty and Lower Sty.
Named after their unique shape, Upper and Lower Sty both have stunning multi-coloured mood-changing LED lights around the outside of the porch, a perfect lighting compliment if you chose to stay in Upper Sty, which has it’s own private Scandinavian hot tub.

More Info About The Pods
Situated just 10-15 minutes walk from Old Town which has a pub, beach and local shop and about a 20 minute stroll to town, Parting Carn is ideally located with beautiful walks and gardens on our doorstep.
Experience the wonderful sight of cows and calves grazing just beyond your private garden and at certain times of the year other animals too.
Our apologies but our pods are not suitable for children under 12 years.
Built in the Cotswolds using traditional handcraft our luxury pods come equipped with everything and more you need for a self catering holiday including:
- A generous welcome pack including a bottle of wine for Upper Sty guests, Cornish milk, tea, coffee, biscuits, sweets, our own free range eggs and some freshly cut flowers.
- Double bed with luxury king sized bedding.
- Luxury The White Company towels, robes and slippers (for Upper Sty guests).
- Kitchen with 2 ring hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge with small freezer compartment.
- Hot running water
- Plates, bowls, cutlery, pots, pans, cups, glasses, cafeteria and a tea pot
- Tin opener, bottle/wine openers, cooking utensils and a chopping board
- Tin foil, tea towels and much more
- Sofa
- Shower room with toilet, sink and a heated towel rail
- Smart TV
- Wi-Fi
- Sufficient heating
- Beach towels
- BOSE sound system
- Luxury Joules Chesterfield dog bed for Lower Sty guests
A private decked and lawned garden with:
- BBQ
- Fire Pit
- Scandinavian hot tub (available in Upper Sty only)
- Outdoor seating
We welcome well behaved dogs in Lower Sty for a fee of £40 per dog (maximum of two dogs) and a refundable deposit of £30 is also applicable at time of booking.
All dogs must be kept under control and must not be left in the pods unsupervised at any time.
Wednesday changeover for Upper Sty, minimum 7 nights
Wednesday changeover for Lower Sty, minimum 7 nights
The pods are available from 3pm on arrival and must be vacated by 9.30am on departure.
Winter offers available with optional check in days.
