About Parting Carn

Set in 24 acres of precious Duchy farmland, Parting Carn is a small family-run farm which has been in the Watts family for over 600 years. Originally a milking farm, it then went on to diversify to flower farming, this further led in many years of being a big producer of the native flower, Scented Narcissi, which you can see flourishing on the islands today.

Andrew and Christie Watts currently occupy Parting Carn and are passionate about offering sustainability for the next generation and offer a wide range of farming opportunities without the use of chemicals, the animals best interests are in the forefront of our minds at all times.

A Working Farm

We are locally famous for our yummy free range eggs, supplying most of the islands hotels, shops and guest houses with eggs from our 1200 hens which are given the chance to roam free and enjoy every bit of sunlight on offer to them, they are moved to fresh grazing ground regularly and in return offer delicious tasting eggs.

We also have a herd of Hereford cows and Saddleback pigs, and at certain times of the year we have calves and piglets.
